  • Low-voltage short-circuit impedance measurement is a fundamental item in routine test projects. By comparing the short-circuit impedance values measured before and after the transformer is impacted by short-circuit current, the degree of winding deformation can be preliminarily estimated based on the magnitude of the change. The change in the short-circuit impedance of the transformer after a short-circuit current impact compared to the initially tested low-voltage short-circuit impedance should not exceed 2%.
    Low-voltage short-circuit impedance test is the most direct method to identify whether the windings of a transformer are deformed after being impacted by short-circuit current during operation or mechanical force during transportation and installation. It is of great significance for determining whether a transformer can be put into operation and is also one of the bases for determining whether a transformer needs to be disassembled for inspection.

Product Feature And Application
